Since before the launch of NYMG many of us here have been using our gaming to raise money for various charities. With the annual drop in temperatures comes the annual Extra Life Marathon to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This is going to be my 6th consecutive year forcing myself to stay awake for 24 hours to play games and raise money to support Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. It is also the year that we are adding an official Gaming for Good page to the site because we are working on broadening our charitable gaming efforts and doing what we can to support other charities as well. Check out the Gaming for Good page for more information or to support your favorite NYMGer in their charity drive.
