Extra Life 2015: Follow Team NYMG! Game Preview, Twitch Streams, and More [UPDATED]

This weekend, several NYMG staffers (and friends!) are gearing up for the 2015 Extra Life marathon, a 24-hour frenzy of gaming for charity. We will be hosting streams from several of our members on the official NYMG Twitch channel, but below we have listed individual channels along with a preview of some of the games our team members have indicated they might play. We will be tweeting regular updates and we’ll try to keep streams going all the time, unless we break for board games or a little Johann Sebastian Joust, in which case you should be able to follow the action on Periscope. Watch us play, kick in a donation, or even sign up for the team — there’s still time to become a member!

Though we’ve participated in the marathon for the past several years, this year marks the beginning of our official Gaming for Good initiative. We’re kicking off with Extra Life, but we’ll be following up with more gaming for charitable causes soon. Keep an eye on our new page for updates on future projects.

Games and info listed above are not exhaustive, and of course, we’ll all get settled and immediately decide to play something else, but we will keep folks updated throughout the marathon!
