On Wednesday, DC Comics unleashed a brand new advertising and social media movement called “DC You.” With it, DC Universe will introduce 24 all-new series on top of 25 ongoing comics, and will feature characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman.
DC You promises to bring diversity to the comics industry by crafting stories for “everyone.”
In the press release, senior vice president of marketing and global franchise management Amit Desai states:
With the New DC Universe, there’s a story for every kind of DC Comics fan. There’s a story for YOU. The DC Comics slate rolling out this summer truly offers a comic book for everyone and our new advertising campaign – DC YOU – celebrates this bold, new direction.
In addition to spotlighting major DCU characters, DC You will utilize the talents of Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Gene Luen Yang, Bryan Hitch, and Annie Wu, among others. The campaign also hopes to highlight diversity, in terms of characters, styles, genres, and stories. Most of all, DC You will celebrate the fans.
The new DCU kicks off June 3. What kinds of characters and stories do you hope to see in DC comics this summer?

Just kidding, I am excited to see what comes though I do wish comics could be a little cheaper, I usually just buy the trade paperbacks.
