For me (and Pea), the time has come. Tonight we will beat the White Witch (failed last night because I forgot to equip our new wand). There is no better time to beat a boss and end a game than a Friday night. After that Pea will be able to walk around explore to her hearts content. In the meantime I will be looking for a new game for us to play. Maybe we will look into some of the Dragon’s Quest games. Anyone have any recommendations for games like Ni No Kuni or Dragon’s Quest that are voiced rather than just scrolling text?
With so many great games out in the last few weeks (Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and more) what do you have planned for your weekend gaming?

I’m gonna try and finish Bioshock Infinite and maybe fire up some Far Cry 3.
Can’t go wrong with taking over some outposts in Far Cry 3. Absolute blast.
Bite the bullet and finish Tomb Raider already why don’t you?
The only one I can think of that might fit like them is Blue Dragon, but I can’t remember if it’s only cut scenes that have voice acting or not. I think it’ll be hard to find a match as good as Ni No Kuni. lol
I’m a 4-games out gamefly user, so I always have a bunch to play. But this weekend I’ll probably be playing Lego:Lord of the Rings and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. With maybe some Tomb Raider and Dead Space 3 thrown in. And always grinding some Black Ops 2 matches.
Not really liking this Lego as much as the others. I think it loses some of its charm when they talk instead of acting the dialog out.
Can’t play any Ni No Kuni though, broke my controller, stupid temper. -.-
Have a great weekend. ^-^
Alexander, I hated Lego LoTR on the DS. I really only played an hour or so of it. I keep feeling like I should at least give it another shot since I bought the damned game!
Urgh, I’ve got a bunch of games like that. Every once in awhile I throw them back to try and make the money worth it. XD Pretty much the achievements are driving me forward in Lego LoTR. Loves me cheevos.
Achievements are probably a big part of the reason that I play the XBox most. I hate stupid trophies!
Yeah the trophies don’t seem to scratch the same itch. I hate how hard it is to check which Trophies I just unlocked. The menu takes forever.
I’ll be playing Talisman: Prologue when I have a few minutes to rub together, and I’ll be playing Crabitron with my toddler (we can actually play that one together). Both on my iPad Mini, because that’s just about the only way I game these days.
I haven’t played wither of those. Now I have to check them out!
