Episode 102: Elfroot, Bells, and Potato Crops, or Pick, Plant, Repeat Forever: Tedium in Games (Right click and save as to download, or hit us up on iTunes or Stitcher)
Long title, for extra tedium.
In this episode, featuring special guest Tanya D., AKA @cypheroftyr, AKA “the spawn point of #INeedDiverseGames,” we talk tedium in games. What is it, when is it, how is it, are all games a little tedious by definition, is tedium like that infamous threshold for obscenity? Surprisingly hard questions, because even when some of the responses came quickly, it felt like there was always more to discuss, and we had a load of helpful questions and examples from Twitter. Thanks to everyone who pitched in! (I’m still amazed we never talked about World of Warcraft.)
